Radha and Suraj have been friends since childhood. Gopal has been in love with Radha ever since they spent a few years together as kids. Years later, Gopal’s guardian proposes to Radha a marriage with Gopal, and she accepts. She finds a loving husband in Gopal, and when Gopal asks who she loves the most, first she lists her mother, then her brother, and in a voice-over she says that she loves Gopal the most. But Gopal thinks that Radha is spending too much time with Suraj, and starts to suspect them, so much so that he asks Radha to leave the house. After Radha leaves the house, she receives a divorce notice from Gopal, which tears her heart apart. When Suraj and her brother, Prashant find out about the divorce notice, they offer to go and talk to Gopal, but Radha does not permit this. Suraj then telephones Gopal and asks to meet him alone, Gopal agrees to meet him, and carries a loaded gun to this meeting….Radha and Suraj have been friends since childhood. NTJNH is Arjun Sablok’s first feature film. And it’s a pretty good debut The first half hour is the weakest part of the film with a song that should be cut, too slow a pace and some tired Bollywood antics. But then the film gets momentum and starts to deliver. There are still lesser moments that pay unnecessary tribute to the formula’ (silly comedy bits a clichéd gay character, a hero-beats-up-multiple-adversaries scene…) but they are outweighed by moments which show that the director has at times a firm grip on the various aspects of cinematic expression and uses his tools to good effect

(camera, editing, sound effects). There is a delightful party dancing scene which has only one fault, it’s too short. Thes is an equally effective scene involving a zipper. There is a comic scene that makes fun of Bollywood film making which directly leads into the inevitable declaration of love between hero and heroine and its expression in a song number, all elegantly executed.

Played by Ranveer Singh (Dev), Ali Zafar (Tutu), Parineeti Chopra (Disha) and Govinda (Bhaiyaji), Kill Dil is an entertaining thriller about guns and romance.Sometimes, when you feel pressure to do something new and try to make something unusual, there would be chances of wrong landing. It happened here. Somehow, it is overcooked. Story is very simple and routine, so making it new, makers stuffed it with unjustified incidents and old twists and turns. Screenplay does not offer anything new. Like, for showing hero good nature to girl he feeds poor kids in Dhaba, is so many times told. Hats off to dialogues. They are just brilliant and make any normal scene interesting. Chemistry between both male lead is impressive but it lacks in most of the love scenes.
